Terms of Sale
These are the terms that apply when you buy from this website. Please read them before you order — placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
This website is operated by Next Generation Deer Feeders LLC (“we”, “us”). FeedVault™ is a trading name (DBA) and the brand under which we sell the product; it is not a separate company. These Terms of Sale govern your purchase of any product from this website.
Our address for notices:
Next Generation Deer Feeders LLC
314 W Edgewater Ter
New Braunfels, TX 78130
United States
You can also reach us at sales@thefeedvault.com or (512) 775-4344.
By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not order. We may change these terms, and any change takes effect when it is posted on this page. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in force at the time you place it.
2. The products
FeedVault™ is a patented timed-access control system — an attachment fitted to a gravity-fed protein feeder so that feed is available only during the hours you choose. It is an accessory for a feeder. Unless a listing says otherwise, a feeder is not included.
We may update product descriptions, specifications and photographs as products are improved. Prices are in United States dollars.
Pricing and description errors do happen. If we discover an error that affects an order you have placed, we will contact you before shipping and you may either confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it for a full refund.
3. Ordering and payment
Card payments are processed by Square. Your card details are entered directly into Square's secure payment field and are never seen by or stored on our servers.
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order; a contract is formed when we accept the order and ship it.
We may refuse or cancel an order — including one we have already confirmed — where there is a pricing or description error, where an item is unavailable, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund it in full.
4. Shipping
We ship within the United States. Delivery timescales quoted anywhere on this site are estimates, not guarantees, and are not of the essence of the contract.
Risk of loss and title pass to you when we hand the goods to the carrier. If a shipment arrives damaged, keep the packaging and tell us as soon as you can, and we will help you pursue the carrier claim.
5. Returns
You may return an unused product in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. Please contact us first so we can give you return instructions.
Return shipping is paid by the buyer, except where the product is faulty or we sent the wrong item, in which case we pay it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has arrived and been inspected.
Products that have been installed, modified, or damaged in use are not returnable under this clause — but they may still be covered by the warranty below.
6. Limited warranty
We warrant that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and when installed and operated according to the instructions, for one year from the date of delivery.
If a defect appears within that period, contact us with your order number and a description of the fault. Our obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is to repair or replace the affected part or product, at our option.
This warranty does not cover: normal wear; damage from accident, misuse, neglect, animals, or weather beyond the product's stated operating conditions; damage from installation not in accordance with the instructions; unauthorised modification or repair; or batteries and other consumable items beyond any separate manufacturer's warranty on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is in place of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Lawful use — game laws are your responsibility
Feeding and baiting of wildlife is regulated, and the rules differ from state to state and often from county to county. Some places permit supplemental feeding freely; some restrict it by season, species or method; some prohibit hunting over a feeder entirely.
You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with all game laws, wildlife regulations and local ordinances that apply where you use this product. We make no representation that owning or using a FeedVault™ system, or hunting near one, is lawful in any particular place or at any particular time. Nothing on this website is legal advice. If you are not certain, check with your state wildlife agency before you buy.
8. Outdoor and electrical use
This product is installed outdoors and contains moving parts and an electrical system. Install and operate it in accordance with the instructions supplied with it, including all instructions for the solar panel, battery and actuators.
Keep hands and clothing clear of the door mechanism while it is powered. Do not modify the product or substitute parts. Modification voids the warranty above and may make the product unsafe.
9. No guarantee of results
Wildlife behaviour, feed consumption, herd condition and hunting outcomes depend on a great many things we do not control — among them weather, terrain, native forage, herd density, neighbouring land use and how the product is used.
We do not guarantee any particular wildlife-management, feed-saving or financial result. Testimonials, case-study figures, savings estimates and any calculator on this website describe individual results or illustrate arithmetic on assumptions you enter. They are not a promise of what you will achieve.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- our total liability arising out of or relating to a product or order will not exceed the purchase price you paid for it; and
- we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost feed, lost hunting opportunity, or damage to property or livestock, however caused.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this clause may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
12. Privacy
How we handle the information you give us is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
